It is an honour and a privilege to be appointed to the Board of Forest Innovation Investment (FII), a B.C. crown corporation charged with developing and diversifying markets for B.C. forest products. B.C. has become over-reliant on the US market at time when it is dealing with excessive duties and tariffs and an unfriendly US administration. Expanding into offshore markets will be critical for the future of the B.C. industry and I hope to assist the FII team and its Board with this challenge.
