On The Brink | Russ Taylor | Podcast Episode #112
John Brink of Brink Forest Products, Prince George, BC, is a legendary force in the BC forest industry and is also the creator of the On the Brink Podcast Series. I was invited to participate in his Podcast #112 last week – the link to this podcast is available in two locations:

John Brink is a living legend in the BC Interior forest products industry. He incorporated Brink Forest Products Ltd. in 1975 as a remanufacturer on adding value to low-grade lumber. He operates three plants in Central BC and mainly produces finger-jointed studs.
I have known John since the 1990s and have watched his business grow, despite the many ups and downs that has occurred over the decades. Not only is John a survivor, he is a visionary and gives back to the community. One of his efforts is his series of very interesting podcasts related to the transition of the BC forest industry.
Podcast #112 is long – 1 hour and 30 minutes, so you are so advised. We discuss many topics related to the BC and international industry and markets. Here are two areas that are different:
Minutes: 1:00 to 8:00 – Discussion about Russ Taylor’s background and career path.
Minutes: 1 hour & 24 to 1 hour & 27 – A story about a legend in hockey – for those hockey fans
